Busy Bees, Bookcrossing and Bulk Sales

So busy!

I've booked tickets for me and Grom to go to the Bookcrossing Unconvention in Colchester. I haven't booked a hotel yet but we have tickets for the weekend and the ghost walk.

I've listed some wholesale listings on my etsy shop. Feel free to pimp them out to anyone you know who might be interested in buying in bulk
I went to London for the day on Saturday. I went to Covent Garden and then to a bookcrossing meet in Westminster. Then after that has a wander to Portobello market in Notting Hill. I bought a lovely dolls house tea set that I'm going to make some jewellery with.

Made a few bracelets today which was nice, and planted some of my courgettes out into the garden.

Sewing Machine Earrings

DSC00808I've been having an earring making spree. I think these sewing machine charms have to be my favourite.

I'm making them for £2 a pair with a choice of different beads.

I have lots in stock. Turquoise Magnesite as shown, or amethyst, glass pearls, garnet, jade and many many more. Only 60p postage for however many pairs you buy too.

Other handmade jewellery for sale at

I also now have a wholesale price list for a range of handmade jewellery for small retailers, and a scheme for people who want to sell earrings at pocket money prices to earn some extra cash. Ideal for mums!

Baked Oatmeal Recipe - Yum!

I finally managed to clear a space on the kitchen worktop to do some baking. Woohoo! And this recipe from Allie In Londonland looked very promising. I had to nip out in awful weather as I didn't have any bananas in, but I did manage to use up the dried unsulphered apricots which I had lying around for that seemed like a store cupboard eternity.

I'm afraid it didn't last as long as it should have done and I made a double batch with sultanas in later in the day which I have been eating for breakfast all week.
